Given how much Obama and McCain seem to agree on issues like the bailout and the new FISA law, and given how unprecedented the issues are, isn’t it critical that the voters make an informed decision?

They barred Dennis Kucinich from participating in the debates in New Hampshire and Nevada. He got a court order which allowed him to participate in the Nevada debate. Then it was overturned by a higher court. Why are they insisting on not allowing him to partipate in the debates? Are they afraid that if he did he might become a leading candidate?

If McCain isn’t willing to participate in a debate that has been scheduled and agreed upon for some time, should Obama just take the free air time and debate the empty chair?

Since McCain can’t decide if he wants to be President or not, since he did “suspend” his candidacy, would it make much of a difference?
