Daniel Boone’s Farm inquired:

Obama and Edwards have refused to participate in a Democratic presidential candidate debate – because they regard Fox News as a conservative-leaning network.

I think we all agree that Fox is more conservative than other networks, but wouldn’t that be a GOOD thing leading up to a Presidential election? It would allow the Democrats more opportunity to reach those with whom they could bring about the most change rather than those who blindly agree with them.

I could understand not participating if this was a Repub vs. Dem debate, but it’s not.

I think it’s a mistake. Conservative candidates could answer in kind by not doing debates on ABC, CBS, NBC or CNN and the next thing you know, we can’t even have an objective debate.

Obama is going to have to contend with the Right if he wants to be President. He should start now. So far, he’s my top pick, but actions like this make me wonder what he’s got to hide or if he’s going to represent ALL of us come election day.

Gee without The Breck Girl and Osama Obama there won’t be any reason to watch it. Those two dance around the issues like Fred Astaire!

It shows how deep the divide is up there in Washington. As if the other networks don’t lean to the left. I think it’s shameful what they are doing.

They took a stance against Fox News. This is highly respected. Their approval ratings just went up!

The only reason is that they are afraid of offending the far left kooks in the party. Based on that they have no business being the Commander In Chief of the United States. Besides that Brit Hume is usually the one who is the moderator. He is fair asks good questions guess they can’t handle that. Need soft ball questions so they don’t have to state positions.

They each would get a chance to answer the same question, so I think they are cowards.

The war is all they have to be embarrassed by being asked questions they want no evidence showing their campaigns on and they want no evidence showing their complete ignorance about what is all they have.
The war is all they are oblivious on and the country bashing bush and they have to be embarrassed by being asked questions they are cowards and certainly do not want to offer.
The war is all they have to offer.

I was looking forward to what Obama had to say, but I don’t like this whole “Let’s get Fox back mentality” It says something about the democrats.

I think the Red States are going to want to teach the democrats another lesson about who runs the country in ‘08 now.

You guys are killing your chance of winning people over, simply by being you.

The sad part is I was looking for an alternative. I don’t like pettiness though and the fact that they are so vengeful.
