Except for the elite rich who now "Own" the US, it is not Bush's fault he is but a pawn in the scheme of things. 1% of the US population are rich with at least 1 million dollars. This means that 297 miilion americans are not rich. The US corporations buy votes from congress and they get what they want. no regulation or price caps, so we have high prices which means more profit for them. These corporations are owned by stockholders. Our lawmakers don't care because they are making money from the corporations. Bush doesn't care because his family owns control of 85% of the oil wells in Texas. 60% of the oil used here comes from domestic sources...Texas and Alaska. Forbes magazine says the rich are getting richer every year for the past 20 years in a row!
