What would you say if someone told you that your doctor got his degree online? Many people assume that this is a bad thing but it can actually be a really great thing.
Reasons you should be glad to find out that your doctor got an online degree include:
- It means he is dedicated to his work. You can’t complete a degree online if you’re a slacker. There’s no one there to motivate you to get it done. Your doctor has a proven ability to commit to the job.
- It indicates a high level of intelligence. People who get online degrees often tend to be people who are really smart.
- It could mean that he has a specialty. Maybe he has an online occupation therapy degree or perhaps he attended one of the many online physician assistant programs. This can be done after completing a general medical degree.
- It suggests that he’s flexible and open-minded. The online degree is still new enough that students have to be out-of-the-box thinkers to do well in this type of setting.
- It definitely means he’s good with paperwork. Online degrees are writing-based degrees. Your doctor can do the research necessary to find the answers that you are seeking.
